The effects area turns a steady color into animated light. iStrip+ presents options such as Meteor Shower, Flash, Breath, and Strobe, letting a compatible bar shift, pulse, or flicker instead of staying static. The classic and fashion themes give the controller different visual starting points before an effect is chosen.
These modes are useful when lighting needs to match a moment rather than a fixed color. A gentle breathing pattern can add movement to a relaxed room, while a flash or strobe treatment can give a party setup more energy. The controls are designed for choosing an effect and returning to color control when the scene changes.
Music and Microphone Rhythm Control
Sound-reactive controls let the lighting follow audio instead of relying only on manual changes. The app supports rhythm behavior from music tracks and also offers a microphone route, so compatible hardware can respond to sound picked up by the phone or by the light system. A dedicated music or microphone area keeps those choices separate from the color wheel.
This can make a desk, room, or small gathering feel more active without adjusting the palette by hand. Pick an audio source, choose a matching lighting behavior, and switch back to direct color control when a steady look is preferred. Results depend on the connected hardware and the audio access available on the Android device.
Bluetooth Groups and Timed Lighting
iStrip+ is built around nearby light-bar control over Bluetooth. The controller can search for compatible hardware, identify a device such as an SSL-series bar, and keep the connection available for color or effect changes. When more than one bar is supported, group controls help coordinate a shared look instead of repeating each adjustment separately.
Timing tools add a practical routine layer. Set lighting to turn on or off around a regular schedule, then use the same controls for a display, bedroom, desk, or event setup.
