Search Products and Build a Watchlist
Search is the fastest route when the wanted item is not already prominent in Featured or Recent. Users can enter a product name, find the matching listing, and use the alert action to add it to a personal watchlist. HotStock also supports custom products, helping people follow a specific model or variation rather than watching a broad category.
A focused watchlist is useful for products with many similar configurations, such as graphics cards, consoles, cameras, or limited editions. The My Alerts area keeps selected targets separate from the general catalog, making it easier to review what still matters and remove an item after buying it. This prevents irrelevant restock notices from taking over the shopping workflow.
Receive and Manage Stock Alerts
Restock notifications are the core action layer. After a user signs in and chooses ALERT ME for a product, HotStock can send a mobile push notification when supported retailer inventory returns. The alert is meant to shorten the delay between a stock change and the moment a shopper checks the retailer, which matters when popular items sell out quickly.
Notification delivery still depends on Android settings, network connectivity, and battery management. The app menu provides access to settings, and the My Alerts area can be used to review watched products or test notification behavior. Users should allow notifications and keep a stable connection, then act quickly and confirm price, seller, shipping, and availability on the retailer page before purchasing.
Use Free Tracking or Premium Options
HotStock offers a free tracking workflow and an optional Premium upgrade for shoppers who need broader or faster monitoring. The free tier can cover a basic watch target, while Premium is designed for more custom products and prioritized stock alerts. An Upgrade HotStock entry in the account menu makes the paid option easy to find without interrupting ordinary catalog browsing.
Premium is most relevant during high-demand launches or when several product variations need tracking at the same time. Subscription terms and the current price appear before purchase, and billing is handled through the Android store account. Users can manage renewal in store subscription settings, so the sensible approach is to compare the paid benefits with the number and urgency of items on the watchlist.
