Review Color-Coded Grades by Marking Period
GradeWay reorganizes Home Access Center data into a faster grade-checking workflow. After choosing a supported district and signing in with HAC credentials, students can see color-coded averages for every course and move between marking periods without digging through the district portal. Individual assignment scores and category averages provide the detail needed to understand how each class total is formed.
This layout is useful for quick checks before school, after a teacher posts work, or when a parent wants a clearer view of several subjects. Upcoming and missing assignments can surface alongside course information, helping users notice changes early and decide which class needs attention first.
Model Future Scores and Calculate GPA
The What-If Calculator lets students add mock grades or adjust expected scores to estimate how future work could change a course average. Instead of treating the current percentage as fixed, users can compare possible outcomes and set a clearer target for a test, project, or missing assignment. Average-score details also make it easier to understand the effect of each recorded grade.
GradeWay can calculate weighted and unweighted GPA from course averages, transcript information, and credits. Students can review GPA breakdowns, edit grading scales, exclude courses when appropriate, and run another what-if estimate. These tools support planning before report cards arrive, while the school’s HAC records remain the reference for final grades and credits.
Plan Homework and Follow School Records
The integrated planner combines teacher-assigned HAC work with tasks students add themselves. Homework can stay connected to existing courses, appear in a day-by-day view, and use reminders so users do not need to recreate their class list in a separate notebook or generic to-do app. This gives assignments a practical place beside the grades they may affect.
GradeWay also brings together records that are often spread across several HAC pages. Students can check A/B day and semester schedules, upcoming or missing assignments, report cards, progress reports, transcripts, and monthly attendance. Having these school records in one mobile workspace helps with routine organization, parent check-ins, and preparation for meetings with teachers or counselors.
Manage Daily Access for Students and Families
GradeWay is designed for repeated access rather than a one-time grade lookup. Credentials can remain available for future sessions, and biometric login can add a quicker return path on supported devices. Parents or guardians can add multiple students on one device and switch between them, which reduces repeated sign-ins when checking more than one HAC account.
Daily-use options extend beyond grades. Students can reach teacher contact information, personalize a profile and display name, choose light or dark mode, and select from multiple color themes. A custom bell schedule can track time left in each period and provide reminders before the next class, making the app useful both for traditional school days and students following familiar schedules from home.
