Archived editorial snapshot
fDeck 3.0.3 provides a configurable Android flight deck for studying instruments, planning routes, and following a moving aviation map. Users can arrange HSI, VOR, ADF, compass, weather, and other displays, tune airports or navigation aids, and connect the panel to supported simulators. Map settings, traffic options, and GPX or KML track export make it useful for classroom practice, home simulation, and general-aviation preparation. The package requires Android 9 or newer; location and network availability affect position, map, weather, and traffic features.
The 3.0.3 panel lets a pilot combine HSI, VOR, ADF, compass, and supporting flight displays in a grid or stack. Choosing a focused set of instruments makes a phone or tablet useful for cockpit practice, simulator work, or learning how heading and bearing indications relate.
The aviation map places airports, navaids, terrain, overlays, and range context around the aircraft position. A station can be selected for instrument work, while user stations and track lines make repeatable route and bearing exercises easier to follow.
Connections for X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator extend the panel to a desk-based training setup. When a session ends, GPX or KML export provides a portable route record for review, sharing, or comparing a planned flight with the path flown.
