FMS One Sign-In and Participant Selection
Evvie is built around a focused entry for workers who record care visits. The blue FMS One button takes the user to the sign-in flow, then the app presents the people connected to the worker’s program. Selecting the right participant keeps the visit attached to the correct record instead of forcing workers to manage a separate paper list.
Workers who serve more than one participant can select the person or people for the visit before continuing. The first setup may also ask for an FMS choice or authorization, depending on the program. This arrangement keeps the mobile experience centered on a worker’s assigned caseload and gives each shift a clear starting point.
Start and End EVV Shifts
Once a participant is selected, Evvie starts a visit with a clear Start Shift action and a confirmation step. The worker can put the phone away while the shift is in progress, then return to the same record when it is time to finish. Location capture is limited to the beginning and end of the shift, matching the app’s EVV-focused design.
Ending a visit uses End Shift followed by a completion choice. A worker can confirm the completed record, start another shift when that option is enabled, or cancel before submission. When the required information is ready, the finished visit can move to the associated portal for review and approval.
Visit Details, Goals, and Task Codes
Evvie keeps the details that make a shift usable for EVV review inside the visit record. Depending on the worker’s program, fields can include start and end locations, a service code, notes, goals, consumer enrollment information, and ADL or task codes. The exact list can vary by the fiscal intermediary, so workers can focus on the fields their program actually uses.
Before completing the visit, the worker reviews required items and confirms the record. This gives a practical path from time tracking to a structured submission rather than a blank timesheet. Direct care workers who need to document duties, participant context, and visit details can handle those steps from the same Android workflow.
Offline Capture and Agency Workflows
Evvie supports visit capture when a worker is temporarily offline after the initial account setup and data load. A visit can remain on the device until a connection is available, then move to the portal for transmission. This is useful in places where a signal may drop during a shift, while still keeping the first sign-in and later submission tied to an internet connection.
For agency-based care programs, Evvie pairs the mobile worker flow with a companion portal. Participants and representatives use the portal for review or approval, while workers use the mobile app to log visits. This role separation keeps each person focused on the part of EVV administration they handle and helps teams replace paper timesheets with a consistent mobile workflow.
