Elegant Teleprompter keeps the main script workflow simple: start a new script from the add button or bring in a text file from local storage or a drive. The library gives you an All Scripts view, a search field for finding saved material, and sorting choices based on date, name, or a custom order.

After a script is available, you can open it for scrolling, return to the library, or select several entries for cleanup. Smooth Scrolling for Cameras and Presentations
The reading view is built around controlled movement rather than a static page. Adjust scroll speed, text size, line spacing, script width, and the focus area so the next lines remain comfortable to follow while you speak. A progress bar helps you understand where you are and move to another point when rehearsal requires a restart.
Loop mode can send a script back to the beginning after it reaches the end, while Tap to Play/Pause lets you stop or resume from the reading view. Center Text keeps the layout balanced, and orientation choices help the display fit different phone or presentation setups. These controls make practice sessions easier to repeat and adapt.
Mirror, Float, and Control the Reading View
For camera work and physical teleprompter rigs, Elegant Teleprompter offers more than a standard scrolling page. Mirror mode flips the text for a beam-splitter or glass prompter, and the floating window can be moved or resized while another app handles video, a meeting, or a live stream. This lets speakers keep their words close to the camera without constantly switching screens.
Bluetooth remote support adds hands-free control for play, pause, speed, and navigation, with customizable key assignments for different controllers. A remote is useful when the phone is mounted away from the speaker or when touching the display would interrupt a presentation. Together, these options turn the app into a flexible reading surface.
Per-Script Settings for Rehearsal and Performance
Settings let each rehearsal setup feel deliberate. Choose a language and theme, adjust fonts, line spacing, scrolling speed, width, orientation, mirror direction, and center alignment, then decide whether tapping the page should pause or resume the text. The app also exposes options such as backup and restore, cloud sync, loop behavior, and per-script adjustments for users who need repeatable setups.
