Accounts and Transaction History at a Glance
EdFed brings everyday account management into a mobile view designed for members who want to check their finances without opening a desktop browser. The account area is suited to reviewing balances, scanning recent transaction history, and opening check images when a payment or deposit needs more context.
That overview makes routine decisions easier: members can confirm whether a transaction posted, look back at account activity, and keep an eye on available funds before paying a bill or moving money. It is a practical starting point for people who want a single place to follow their credit-union accounts while away from a branch.
Mobile Check Deposit from Your Phone
Mobile deposit turns a signed paper check into a remote banking task. Members can choose Deposit Check, select an eligible checking account, enter the amount, photograph the front and endorsed back, and submit the deposit from the phone. An on-screen confirmation and email receipt help keep the submission easy to follow.
The workflow is useful when a branch visit is inconvenient, especially for members who receive checks while travelling or working away from home. The app keeps this process compact, so users can handle a deposit during a commute or between appointments. Eligibility depends on EdFed membership, account standing, registration for EdFed 24/SEVEN, and a valid email address, while daily and monthly limits apply to deposits.
Bill Pay and Everyday Transfers
EdFed’s digital banking tools help members handle recurring household payments and transfers from the same account-management experience. Bill Pay can be used to add payees, schedule one-time or recurring payments, review upcoming bills and payment history, and make changes when a payment plan needs attention.
The broader workflow also supports moving funds between accounts and connecting related financial tasks instead of treating each payment as a separate visit. A clear history view is useful for checking what has already been sent and what still needs action. Members who regularly pay utilities, send money, or monitor due dates can use these controls to keep routine obligations organized from an Android phone.
Card Controls and Member Access
The app extends beyond balances with controls for managing cards and protecting day-to-day spending. Members can report a card lost or damaged, block or unblock it, activate a new card, update a PIN, add travel notices, and receive transaction alerts through the card-management area.
EdFed also supports practical access tasks around the account relationship, including finding nearby surcharge-free ATMs and using a Remember Me option on the sign-in screen. Because these controls are grouped with member access, urgent changes can be handled without searching through unrelated menus. These tools suit members who want quick action when a card changes, a trip is planned, or cash access is needed away from a familiar branch.
