Shape Creep Routes with Tower Placement
Desktop Tower Defense turns maze building into the heart of every defense. Instead of sending creeps along a preset lane, you place turrets to influence the shortest route toward the exit. A small change in the layout can create a longer path, redirect pressure, or open a safer angle for your defenses, so planning matters before the first wave arrives.
The Easy Mode board gives you a clear space to arrange the route, with tower choices visible beside the playfield and a crosshair marking the work area. Start and Reset controls make it simple to try a layout, learn how movement reacts, and refine the maze as your strategy improves.
Choose Difficulty and Wave Challenges
The mode menu lets you set the pace before building: Easy uses one line of creeps and generous money, Normal adds a second line, and Hard keeps two lines while giving enemies more health. Challenge modes raise the planning demand, while Fun modes offer a looser way to experiment. This range makes the same tower-placement idea feel different from one session to the next.
Waves arrive at set intervals and can change the problem you are solving. Some creeps resist or ignore certain towers, others move faster, spawn new units, or fly over the maze. Wave labels such as Boss, Group, Immune, Fast, and Spawn help you read the threat and prepare a response before the next push.
Spend Gold on Turrets and Upgrades
Every round asks you to make a practical economy decision: buy another turret to cover a gap, or invest in an existing tower so it can handle a tougher lane. Because the route is shaped by your construction, gold management and placement work together rather than feeling like separate menus. Stronger plans come from matching each tower to the path it controls.
The play screen keeps Gold, Lives, Level, Time, and Score visible while the tower palette stays within reach. Those counters make the trade-off easy to follow during a run, and the different tower icons encourage experimentation with range, coverage, and special roles instead of repeating one universal build.
Chase High Scores Across Modes
Desktop Tower Defense supports players who enjoy improving a familiar setup as well as those who want a harder puzzle. Start a level, send the next wave when you are ready, and use Reset to test a different arrangement. Easy and Normal modes are approachable places to learn the route system, while Hard and Challenge modes reward tighter planning.
Scores and lives turn each defense into a measurable run, and the Leaderboards entry adds a reason to revisit successful layouts. The interface also keeps Options and Unmute available without hiding the board controls, making it suitable for short strategy sessions, repeated experiments, or players who like comparing their best results.
