Private Dance Media Library
DanceBUG gives dancers and families a private account library for competition photos, videos, and studio recital recordings. Purchased media and performances supplied by an affiliated studio can be collected under one login, reducing the need to keep separate links for each event. Users can return to routines whenever they want to relive a performance or review a dancer's work.
Access depends on the event or studio connected to the account. Competition customers can add purchased media, while studio families can use the five-digit code supplied by their studio to connect available shows. This account-based organization makes the app most useful for people who attend multiple competitions or want their dance archive available from a phone.
Live Events and Routine Alerts
During supported competitions, DanceBUG acts as an event companion rather than only a media player. Users can open Live Events to find the venue in maps, watch an available stage stream, and follow a live schedule with on-stage and coming-up-next information. A full event schedule can also work like a digital program for browsing every planned routine.
Families can add individual routines or all routines from a studio and choose advance notifications before the scheduled stage time. These alerts are useful when an event runs across several rooms or a parent is moving between activities. Feature availability varies by competition, so the event page determines which maps, streams, schedules, and notification tools appear.
Media Orders, Downloads, and Sharing
The app connects the viewing library with the media order flow. Users can add new photo or video orders to their account, redeem eligible competition media, and return to purchased files without rebuilding their collection. DanceBUG supports both streaming and downloading, which helps families watch immediately or keep permitted files available for later viewing.
Photos can be shared through familiar social channels, while family members can be given their own account access to view the same dance memories. Access periods and purchase options can depend on the event package or membership attached to the account, so users should check the details shown with each order before relying on long-term availability.
Scores, Critiques, and Big-Screen Playback
DanceBUG also connects performance media with competition follow-up. Eligible accounts can reach Video Judge adjudication videos, competition scores, and related critiques, giving dancers and teachers a way to review more than the final recording. These materials can support post-event reflection, coaching conversations, and planning for the next routine.
For group viewing, compatible Android devices can cast a selected video from My Media to a supported television or streaming device. Casting support can vary by phone and TV model, but it offers a practical way for families or studios to watch performances together. Combined with mobile access, it keeps both entertainment and constructive feedback close to the dancer's account.
