Astrill VPN 3.14.55 is an Android VPN client for choosing a server, selecting a routing style, and directing phone traffic through a private tunnel. Its workflow suits users who want one-tap access to a VPN connection while keeping control over which websites or apps use that route. Smart mode and application filtering can separate international traffic or selected apps from direct local access, while server search makes a large location list easier to navigate. This release adds OpenVPN Smart mode, automatic protocol selection, and a searchable server list, and lists minor UI, OpenWeb stability, and StealthVPN crash fixes. The package requires Android 6.0 or newer.
Smart routing for international websites
Smart mode can send international websites through Astrill's VPN while local traffic stays direct. That split helps travelers and remote workers reach overseas services without forcing every local destination through the same route.
Choose VPN access by Android app
Application filtering lets users decide which Android apps use the tunnel and which keep the normal ISP path. It is useful when work, banking, media, and local utility apps need different routing rules.
Searchable servers and automatic protocol choice
Version 3.14.55 adds a searchable server list, automatic protocol selection, and OpenVPN Smart mode. Together they make a large location menu easier to navigate while leaving room to fine-tune a session when network conditions change.
