XCIPTV PLAYER 7.0 is a configurable OTT/IPTV media player for Android phones, tablets, and TV devices. It brings live TV, electronic program guides, catch-up viewing, video-on-demand titles, and series into one interface, with built-in ExoPlayer and VLC playback for supported streams. Favorites, reminders, scheduled recording, multi-screen viewing, and backup or restore give regular viewers more control over how they organize content across devices.
For version code 2000, the release notes list 16 KB page-size support, ExoPlayer 1.8.0, a newer VLC 3.x line, EPG download fixes, content-update optimization, an expiration-display fix, a Google Play Store crash fix, and target SDK 35. The XAPK requires Android 5.0 or later, and launch may require Google Play to be enabled and current.
Built-in ExoPlayer and VLC Playback
Two built-in playback engines support adaptive HLS streaming, giving connected OTT services a flexible route for live and on-demand video. Android TV users can navigate the player with a remote or D-pad, while phone and tablet users can use the same core viewing experience.
Live TV, EPG, and Catch-Up
Live TV works with electronic program guide features that help users browse schedules, set reminders, and reach catch-up viewing when the connected service provides it. EPG timeshift and the option to load the last live channel make routine viewing easier to resume.
Recording, VOD, and Personal Libraries
Movies and series can be organized alongside live channels, with IMDb information for VOD entries, seasons and episodes for series, and favorites across TV, VOD, and series. Scheduled recording, internal or external storage, multi-screen viewing, and backup or restore add practical control for households using more than one device.
