WeDJ turns an Android phone or tablet into a compact two-deck mixing workspace. Load tracks from the device library into deck 1 and deck 2, then use the separate play, cue, and sync controls to keep both sides moving. The dual layout makes it easy to practice transitions, compare songs, and build a set without carrying a full console.
Large jog wheels, track-load areas, waveform displays, and the central crossfader keep timing and balance visible while you mix. Slide the tempo controls when a track needs a closer match, tap CUE to prepare an entry point, and move the fader to blend between channels. The colorful deck treatment also helps distinguish left and right tracks at a glance.
Beat Control, EQ, and Creative FX
Once two tracks are loaded, WeDJ gives you several ways to shape the transition instead of relying on volume alone. Beat Sync matches tempos with a tap, while the three-band EQ lets you work on high, mid, and low ranges. Tempo sliders and Master Tempo help change speed without losing the track's key.
Creative tools add movement to a mix: loops repeat a selected section, Hot Cues jump to marked moments, and the sampler can trigger sounds such as a horn or siren. Pad FX, Combo FX, Echo, Reverb, and the X/Y pad support quick experiments, so beginners can learn by touch while experienced users build more personal transitions.
Automix, Recording, and Hardware Practice
Automix gives WeDJ a relaxed listening mode by mixing the next track before the current one ends. When you want more control, the Record function can capture a performance for replay or sharing, turning a practice session into a portable mix file. These options suit both quick preparation and casual listening when you are away from a larger setup.
The app can also grow with compatible Pioneer DJ hardware. The DDJ-200, DDJ-WeGO4, and DDJ-WeGO3 are listed as supported units, allowing physical controls to work alongside the Android interface. Headphones are useful for practice, while speakers can make the same mobile setup work for a small gathering or a personal demo.

Its flexible layout can show two jog wheels with overview waveforms or enlarge the waveforms horizontally or vertically, making the controls easier to follow on different screens. Local playback keeps the workflow focused on music already stored on the Android device, with WAV, AIFF, MP3, and M4A as supported formats. Beginners can start with the colorful animated interface, while more confident DJs can refine timing, cue points, loops, and effects before moving to hardware.
