Swipe Through Temple Traps
Tomb Runner builds each attempt around a fast, forward-moving escape through jungle ruins. Players swipe left or right to change lanes and turn at corners, then swipe up or down to jump and slide past gaps, stone barriers, fire, and other temple hazards. A giant gorilla supplies the chase pressure, so reactions matter more as distance increases.
The route mixes narrow bridges, raised platforms, sharp turns, and collectible lines that encourage quick decisions instead of following one safe path. On-screen distance and run time make improvement easy to track, while simple gesture controls keep the game approachable for short Android sessions.
Chase Distance, Coins, and Achievements
Every run creates several goals at once: survive longer, cover more meters, gather coins, and build a higher score. Early achievement targets include running 500 meters, collecting 300 coins, and scoring 2,000 points, giving new players clear milestones before they begin chasing personal records. Treasure chests and visible progress bars add extra reasons to keep moving.
Coins appear along the route and feed into the menus between attempts, connecting moment-to-moment dodging with longer-term progress. A successful run can therefore improve both immediate score and future options. This loop works well for players who enjoy repeating compact challenges and seeing measurable gains from better timing.
Upgrade Power-Ups for Longer Runs
The upgrade menu turns collected coins into practical help for later attempts. Players can raise the value of golden idols, unlock a coin magnet, add an invulnerability power-up, and reach silver-coin rewards after longer distances. Each upgrade has multiple levels, so currency saved across several runs can gradually strengthen the next attempt rather than disappearing after one session.
Some upgrade progress can also be advanced through rewarded video entries, giving players a choice between spending coins and viewing an ad. The system supports different priorities: coin hunters can focus on the magnet, cautious runners can work toward invulnerability, and distance-focused players can improve rewards that become available deeper into a run.
Unlock Runners, Masks, and Treasures
Character collection adds variety beyond the default explorer. Tomb Runner includes 16 runners to obtain, with character cards tied to powers such as coin magnet, golden idol, and invulnerability. Each runner can also use two masks, creating additional ability combinations and collection goals for players who want more than a single high-score route.
Relics, masks, idols, and other treasures expand the progression loop, while coins and special items determine which characters become available. The character grid makes locked choices visible from the start, so players can pick a target and work toward it through repeated runs. This structure gives casual sessions a longer purpose without changing the straightforward swipe-based controls.
