The 15.5.0 release keeps The Battle Cats focused on base-defense battles: assemble a squad, send units toward the enemy base, build your economy, and fire the Cat Cannon when the line gets crowded. Progress broadens through stage rewards, XP, collectible Cats, and forms that give long-term goals beyond a single campaign. The update notes also list tutorial-flow timing adjustments, new True and Ultra Forms, new Talents and Ultra Talents, and expanded Legend Map difficulties, rank rewards, and CatCombos. It suits players who want a light entry point with a large stage-and-collection ladder.
Cat Cannon and squad timing
Tap units into the fight, build coins, and hold the line near your base while the Cat Cannon charges. This makes each stage a small timing puzzle: spend resources on pressure, or save them for a stronger counterattack.
Collection with long-term forms
Stage clears provide XP and items, while new Cats, Rare Cat Capsules, True Forms, and upgrades give the roster a reason to keep growing. Players can shape progress around collecting, strengthening units, or opening more challenging stages.
