TagMo turns an Android phone into a working library for NFC tag files. After choosing a root folder, users can open a local collection, search for entries, refresh the browser, and move through the file area before starting a tag task. The app is designed for people who keep backups and related files together rather than treating each tag as an isolated action.
The main browser exposes a clear starting point at the selected folder and can show a Download collection as a card-based list. That makes it easier to locate the right file, review a stored archive, and prepare a compatible tag workflow without repeatedly leaving the app. NFC and Bluetooth hardware still determine what can happen after a file is ready.
Write, Save, and Restore Compatible Tag Data
TagMo supports the practical part of moving compatible tag data between a file archive and supported hardware. Its workflow can write legitimate backups to NTAG215 tags recognized by Wii U, 3DS, and Switch devices, while saved data can be restored to the same tag or a compatible replacement for the same character, game, or series.
The app also works with Power Tags, Amiiqo or N2 Elite devices, Bluup Labs hardware, Puck.js, and other Bluetooth accessories. These options give collectors several ways to manage a personal archive, but the required encryption keys and compatible hardware remain the user's responsibility. Writing a tag is effectively permanent, so each file choice deserves care.
Filter, Sort, and Clean a Personal Archive
Large tag collections are easier to manage when browsing tools reduce the amount of manual folder work. TagMo's overflow menu provides amiibo filters, sorting options, and a Clean Duplicates action, giving users a quicker way to narrow a library and remove repeated entries before a write or restore task.
Recursive Search extends that workflow into nested folders, which is useful when backups are grouped by character, game, series, or date. Search and refresh controls sit in the main bar, so a user can update the view and find a file without rebuilding the collection. This organization layer suits collectors who want their archive to stay usable as it grows.
Choose Display Layouts for Everyday NFC Work
TagMo lets users choose how a tag library is presented instead of locking every collection into one layout. Display Options offers Snappy Cards, Banner Cards, and Icon Tile Grid choices, so people can favor compact browsing, larger visual cards, or a denser set of icons depending on the size of the archive and the phone screen.
The same panel includes a Recursive Search toggle, keeping a useful discovery control close to the visual settings. Together with the root-folder browser, filters, and sorting, these choices make TagMo flexible for quick file checks or longer organization sessions. It is best suited to Android users who already have NFC-capable hardware and want a focused way to prepare, review, and maintain tag data.
