Tab 3.0.0 is a receipt-led bill-splitting tool for shared meals. Its home screen places New Bill, Join Bill, and My Bills close together, so a group can start a calculation, enter an existing one, or return to a saved bill without hunting through menus. The camera flow is built around an itemized receipt: capture the check, review its line items, and let each diner claim what they ordered. Shared items can be assigned to more than one person, while tax and tip are divided proportionally. Birthday meals get an additional even-split option, and final amounts can be settled through a recorded cash payment or the app’s Venmo integration. The package targets Android 9 and later; camera access is needed for receipt capture, and availability is currently limited to the US Play Store.
Capture the check, then work from real line items
Tab uses a receipt photo as the starting point for a shared bill. The resulting item-and-price list gives the group something concrete to review before anyone assigns a share.
Let every diner claim a fair share
Friends can join the same bill and choose the items they ordered, including shared items claimed by more than one person. Real-time synchronization keeps the group working from the same set of selections.
Keep tax, tip, and treating flexible
Proportional tax and tip calculations follow the value of each person’s items. For a birthday meal, Tab can also divide the guest of honor’s total evenly among the other diners.
