SocksDroid 1.0.3 is a compact Android proxy client for users who already have a SOCKS5 endpoint. The app centers on a connection profile where you can enter a server address and port, choose username and password authentication, and turn routing on from the top switch. Its settings also expose per-app routing, TCP DNS, IPv6 forwarding, and optional UDP forwarding for compatible remote gateways, giving network-focused users room to match the connection to a particular device or task. The Default profile makes a simple starting point, while additional profiles help separate endpoints or use cases. This release supports Android 5.0 or newer and targets Android 10; a working proxy server and its credentials are required for routed traffic.
Editable server profiles
Keep a proxy address, port, and authentication choices together in a reusable profile. Separate entries can make it easier to move between known endpoints without re-entering connection details for every task.
Selective Android traffic routing
Use the VPN-based routing controls for a broad device connection or a narrower per-app arrangement. This helps network testers and developers direct the traffic that needs a SOCKS5 path while keeping other app activity outside that task.
Advanced DNS, IPv6, and UDP options
Adjust TCP DNS settings, IPv6 forwarding, and UDP forwarding when the remote environment supports them. The extra controls are useful for specialized proxy setups, while a basic route can begin with the server and port alone.
