Create and Join Sports Pools
RunYourPool gives groups a structured way to turn sporting events into friendly prediction contests. Commissioners can choose a sport and game format, configure the pool, and invite friends, relatives, coworkers, or customers to participate. Members then join the appropriate pool, make selections through online pick sheets, and follow the same rules without exchanging spreadsheets or collecting choices by hand.
The platform supports private group play as well as public contest discovery. Invitations can be shared by email, social channels, or a direct link, while dashboard cards help participants distinguish active, pending, and commissioner-managed pools. This setup works well for recurring office competitions, family traditions, fan communities, and seasonal events where one organizer needs a consistent place for entries and updates.
Make Picks Across Sports and Formats
RunYourPool covers more than one kind of bracket or pick’em game. Its catalog has included NFL and college football pools, NCAA tournament brackets, NBA formats, baseball contests, golf pools, hockey pools, soccer competitions, Olympics selections, and even Academy Awards pools. Depending on the event, groups can choose survivor, pick’em, confidence, squares, bracket, head-to-head, Pick X, or one-and-done styles.
Participants use digital pick sheets rather than passing around paper forms. Formats can lock choices at scheduled deadlines, update results as games finish, and show weekly or season-long standings. That variety lets a group choose a simple elimination pool for casual players or a more detailed scoring format for experienced fans without changing the basic invitation-and-picks workflow.
Manage Members, Deadlines, and Results
Commissioners get controls for the practical work behind a pool. They can adjust scoring and other pool settings, invite or approve members, manage entries, and use reports instead of manually reconciling every selection. Pool cards show the game type and member count, while commissioner indicators and options help organizers find the pools they are responsible for.
For participants, automatic deadlines keep late picks from changing the competition after games begin, and standings update as results arrive. Leaderboards, pick summaries, year-to-date reports, and private message boards give groups a shared view of progress. These tools are especially useful for large workplace or community pools where clear status, centralized communication, and repeatable administration save the organizer time.
Continue Existing Pools on Splash Sports
RunYourPool and Splash Sports now operate as a unified service, so the current Android app no longer opens the former pool dashboard. Instead, it presents a migration screen explaining that existing pools have moved to the Splash Sports app. The screen provides separate download choices for general users and Canadian users, then sends the selected path outside RunYourPool.
Existing members are instructed to sign in to Splash Sports with their RYP credentials and verify their identity to regain access. Splash states that contests, history, settings, and player lists carry over to the newer platform. This makes the APK useful mainly as a migration handoff; users who need active pool management should expect to continue in a different app rather than inside the legacy RunYourPool interface.
