PXPlay 8.1.1 is a Remote Play client for Android players who want to stream supported PlayStation games from a registered console to a phone, tablet, or Android TV device. It combines low-latency streaming with third-party controller support, button mapping, virtual-controller mode, multiple console profiles, and display controls such as bitrate, aspect ratio, and FSR sharpening. The release also refines second-display detection, DualSense touchpad mapping, artwork refresh, PSN token recovery, and rendering stability. A compatible console and internet connection are required when starting the app, and remote sessions depend on network quality and account or router setup. Android 6.0 or newer is required.
Tune a remote stream for your screen
PXPlay lets players adjust bitrate, aspect ratio, display layout, and FSR sharpening while streaming. These controls help balance clarity, screen space, and responsiveness on phones, tablets, foldables, and Android TV devices.
Switch between controllers and input styles
Third-party USB or Bluetooth controllers, button mapping, customizable touch controls, and virtual-controller mode give each setup a practical input path. Players can move between a handheld screen, TV interface, and external gamepad without rebuilding the whole workflow.
Keep console connections easier to manage
Multiple profiles, registered console cards, automatic registration where supported, and a wake-up action organize recurring Remote Play sessions.
