PPSSPP Gold v1.20.4 brings a personal PSP library to Android phones and tablets. Players select a data folder, browse compatible files, and move between Recent, Games, and Homebrew & Demos when organizing content. HD rendering, texture scaling, post-processing, configurable touch controls, external input, and save-state support make the emulator adaptable to different devices. This release also refines ad-hoc status handling, texture scaling, rendering, and Android file-picker behavior. The Gold edition supports continued development. Android 5.0+ is required, while storage access and game-file availability depend on setup.
A Flexible PSP Library
Choose a PSP data folder or load a compatible file, then keep titles organized through Recent, Games, and Homebrew & Demos. Browse and Load give new users two straightforward ways to point the emulator toward their library.
HD Visual Tuning
Rendering resolution, texture scaling, and post-processing effects help adapt PSP presentation to a modern Android screen. Players can balance sharper visuals with the performance available from a particular phone or tablet.
Controls and Progress Recovery
Customize touch input or connect a controller or keyboard for a more comfortable play style. Save states and transferable PSP saves make it easier to resume progress across short sessions or devices.
