Clock In and Record Working Hours
My Patriot gives hourly and salaried employees a mobile route for recording work. Depending on the employer's setup, a worker can punch in and out or enter hours manually, then review the day before those entries move into a time card. Employees with more than one role can track hours against the appropriate job and pay rate instead of combining every shift into one total.
The app also separates regular work from non-worked time such as vacation, sick leave, or PTO. Daily, weekly, and pay-period views help employees understand what has already been entered and what still needs attention. This makes the app useful for routine shift tracking as well as less predictable schedules that involve several roles or different kinds of hours.
Review, Comment on, and Submit Time Cards
Time-card management turns individual entries into a payroll-ready record. Employees can open current or earlier cards, review their totals, add daily notes or a broader time-card comment, and submit the finished period for approval. Notes provide context for a manager when a schedule change, project detail, or correction needs explanation without starting a separate message thread.
Open and approved cards remain available for reference, while eligible salaried employees can clone hours into a future card to reduce repetitive entry. A submitted card can still be corrected before approval when the workflow allows it. Approval and rejection notifications help employees know when a card is complete or needs another edit, keeping the payroll process easier to follow from a phone.
Check Pay, Tax, and Time-Off Details
My Patriot brings several employee self-service tasks beside time tracking. Workers can view pay summaries, check available time-off balances, and review personal information without waiting for a payroll administrator to send routine details. The pay area helps users understand recent earnings, while the profile area provides a practical place to keep contact and other employee information current.
Year-end tax forms and payroll-related details are also available to eligible employees. What appears in the dashboard depends on the services and options enabled by the employer, so a worker may see time entries, a recent pay report, or available leave information in different combinations. Keeping these records in one mobile account makes quick payroll checks more convenient between workdays.
Manage Account Access and Work Notifications
The app uses the same employee portal credentials that a worker establishes after accepting an employer invitation. This keeps mobile access tied to an existing Patriot payroll relationship instead of creating an unrelated account. Once access is set up, optional biometric authentication or a PIN can make repeat sign-ins faster while preserving a fallback method for opening the app.
Notification preferences let employees choose alerts for time-card nudges, approvals, rejections, and manager comments. Profile and settings areas also provide links for personal details, help articles, privacy information, feedback, and app support. Together, these controls suit employees who want essential payroll reminders and account tools close to the timekeeping workflow rather than scattered across separate services.
