The main discovery screen keeps the most common actions beside each card: skip, send a message, add a like, or say hi. This layout suits people who want either a deliberate profile review or a quick way to start meeting singles in short sessions.
Likes, Matches, and Daily Suggestions
Likes create the central connection loop in Mingle. Users can tap the heart on a profile, revisit people they liked from their account area, and use mutual interest as a route into conversation. A Daily Set of Likes presents a smaller group of suggestions and lets users remove profiles that do not fit before confirming the set.
The Viewed Me tab adds another signal for deciding where to spend time, while the Online tab helps prioritize people who may respond sooner. Together, daily suggestions, incoming attention, and mutual likes provide several ways to move from browsing toward a relevant match without relying on a single endless feed.
Messages, Greetings, and Shared Media
Once users connect, Mingle provides an inbox for direct communication. The message area separates established conversations from quick Say hi activity and includes message requests, making it easier to distinguish ongoing chats from new contact. When the inbox is empty, an Explore Now route returns users to profile discovery instead of leaving them at a dead end.
Conversations can include text as well as shared photos, videos, and audio, giving matches more ways to introduce themselves than a short written line. Public group chat is also part of the wider service, while private messaging remains the natural next step after a like or greeting develops into mutual interest.
Profile Setup and Conversation Starters
Profile creation asks for practical matching details such as name, age, gender, and who the user wants to meet. After setup, the account area shows profile completion, editing controls, public-profile visibility, people already liked, and a Dating & Safety Hub. These controls help users improve what others see and pause broad discovery without losing existing connections.
Mingle also includes AI-assisted writing tools for moments when a profile or first message is difficult to phrase. AI AboutMe can suggest profile text from a keyword, while AI IceBreaker can generate several opening messages to choose from.
