Metal Slug 2 1.5 is a side-scrolling run-and-gun game built around moving through enemy-filled stages, rescuing allies, and choosing when to spend shots, bombs, and special weapons. The Android flow pairs the original arcade route with a Mission Mode that lets players revisit individual stages, adjust difficulty, and practice sections that need a cleaner run. Marco, Tarma, Eri, and Fio form the selectable squad, while a virtual joystick, A/B/C buttons, pause control, and optional Autofire translate the cabinet feel to touch screens. The downloadable package declares Android 4.0 or newer and requests location, nearby-device, media, and network-related access; review those prompts before play.
Move, shoot, and survive through pixel-art stages
Guide a soldier across desert battlefields, fire at enemy troops, avoid hazards, and manage bombs or special weapons as the route advances. The clear arcade loop works well for short attempts and repeat runs where learning enemy placement matters.
Practice stages with Mission Mode
Arcade Mode presents the complete route, while Mission Mode lets players return to individual stages and choose a difficulty from Easy through Very Hard. This gives newcomers a gentler starting point and gives experienced players focused practice.
Choose a four-soldier squad
Marco, Tarma, Eri, and Fio are available from Soldier Select before a run. Touch controls, Autofire, and a Multiplayer entry add flexible ways to approach the same run-and-gun stages, whether the session is solo practice or a Bluetooth challenge.
