Kocho 1.9.1 is a visual-novel reader and maker for exploring community stories or shaping original interactive scenes on Android. The Library offers a sample and community entry points, while Workshop gives creators a phone-friendly route into dialogue, characters, scenery, music, and branching decisions. Settings add dark mode, image import from Files or Cloud, optional editing music, and a translations tab, making the app useful for both casual reading and small creative projects. The package requires Android 19 or newer. A Login entry and premium-features option are available in Settings, so account or paid access may affect some workflows.
Find a story and community starting point
The Library brings a sample novel and Kocho community destinations into one reading area. It gives a new reader an easy first stop, then makes it simpler to return to story projects or look for another interactive experience.
Turn an idea into playable scenes
Workshop opens a creator path from the plus button and supports the building blocks of a visual novel, including dialogue, people, settings, music, and choices. This keeps early experiments approachable while leaving room for a longer branching story.
Adjust how stories are made and enjoyed
Settings lets users choose dark mode, import images from Files or Cloud, control music during scene editing, and enable a translations tab. These controls help readers and creators adapt Kocho to different projects, environments, and preferred ways of working.
