Key Transposer 1.0 is a focused Android utility for moving a song’s chord chart from one key to another. Users choose an Original Key and a Transpose To key, then use Transpose to recalculate the chart while preserving the relationship between chord degrees. The interface keeps the result readable with Original and Transposed rows, degree labels from I through vii°, and a visible semitone setting. Reset returns the chart to its starting state, making the tool useful during rehearsal, practice, or quick arrangement changes. Original-to-target key workflow
Select the song’s starting key and the key you want to use, then run the transposition from the main screen. The compact flow suits quick chord-chart adjustments before practice or performance.
Original and transposed chord rows
The result table keeps the source and changed chord rows together under I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi, and vii° degree labels. This side-by-side view makes it easier to follow the same harmonic relationship after a key change.
Semitone indicator and reset control
A visible Transpose Setting reports the shift in semitones, while Reset restores the initial chart state. Together, these controls provide a simple way to check a change and start another arrangement.
