Keepass2Android Password Safe 1.15-r3 is an Android password manager built around encrypted KeePass-compatible databases. From the opening screen, users can open an existing vault or create a new database, then manage credentials and other sensitive records in one place. The app connects that vault to practical workflows such as cloud or server synchronization, AutoFill, an integrated keyboard, QuickUnlock, fingerprint access, TOTP, templates, child databases, and YubiKey support. The 1.15 line adds background synchronization through a cache copy and controls for periodic or Wi-Fi-only behavior, while r3 fixes a background-sync keyfile issue. This XAPK requires Android 5.0 or newer, and the package opened successfully to its Keepass2Android launch screen.
Encrypted KeePass Vault Workflow
The app keeps passwords and other sensitive records in a KeePass-compatible encrypted database. Open an existing vault or create a new one from the starting screen, then continue working with a format that can also be used with KeePass, KeePassXC, and related tools.
Background Synchronization Controls
The 1.15 series uses a local cache copy to make database loading and saving faster before remote synchronization begins. Preferences cover periodic background sync and whether synchronization should run generally or only on Wi-Fi, while 1.15-r3 fixes a keyfile issue during background sync.
AutoFill and QuickUnlock Options
AutoFill and the integrated keyboard help pass saved credentials to websites and Android apps without requiring repeated copy-and-paste steps. QuickUnlock, fingerprint access, TOTP variants, templates, child databases, and YubiKey support give experienced users more ways to shape their credential workflow.
