John GBAC v2.15 archive notes
John GBAC gives Android users a compact way to revisit handheld-era GBA and GBC titles from a personal collection. Its library can locate compatible files in phone or card storage, while touch controls, adjustable layouts, save-state previews, speed changes, and controller support help adapt play to different habits. Image capture, cheats, and the optional Dropbox connection through John DataSync add extra flexibility for returning to older games. Version v2.15 requires Android 6.0 or newer. The first screen asks the user to create a Johnemulators folder and grant access before files can be loaded; game files are not bundled.
GBA/GBC Library Management
Browse compatible game files from internal or SD card storage and organize the library around the GBA and GBC categories. Favorites and history make returning to recent or preferred titles more convenient.
Flexible Controls and Display
An on-screen keypad, customizable layout and keys, turbo buttons, speed adjustment from x0.25 to x16, and high-quality rendering help adapt play to different phones and preferences. Bluetooth/MOGA controller support provides another control option.
Save States and Cloud Extras
Save states include previews, while image capture and cheat support add practical tools for continuing or customizing sessions. Dropbox support is available through John DataSync, and a paid option can remove ads.
