Search Long-Distance Routes
GrandTrain 2.0 centers its travel workflow on route search. Enter departure and arrival stations, choose a one-way or return journey, set the passenger count, and use the main search control to move toward available trains. This keeps the first step focused for travelers comparing options before purchase. The route form is easy to scan when a traveler is planning before booking.
The home screen also surfaces travel notices, including route-change information, so users can check service updates before finalizing plans. A clear Tickets section in the bottom navigation offers a separate place to return to booked journeys, while the four-part layout keeps routes, tickets, account access, and settings easy to revisit.
Compare Trains and Carriage Seats
After a route is entered, GrandTrain 2.0 is designed to help travelers choose a suitable train and a comfortable seat in the carriage. Several service classes provide another way to compare the journey, letting passengers balance the type of onboard service with their travel plans instead of treating every departure as identical.
The booking flow is useful for people who prefer to handle rail arrangements from a phone. Search results, carriage choices, service details, and an electronic ticket can keep the journey organized from the first comparison through the final travel document, with less reliance on a ticket-office queue.
Tickets, Routes, and Personal Account
GrandTrain 2.0 separates trip management from the first route search. The Tickets area gives travelers a dedicated place to return to their travel documents, while route views help them review where a journey begins and ends. The public product description also supports access to purchased tickets for past and future trips.
The Personal Account area is aimed at account-specific information and asks the traveler to authorize before it can be viewed. That separation keeps general planning available from the home screen while reserving personal records for the account area. Settings and the bottom navigation make the main sections straightforward to reach again.
Mobile Planning Before the Journey
For a commuter or traveler preparing a long-distance rail trip, the app brings route planning, passenger selection, service choices, and electronic ticket access into one mobile workflow. It is especially useful when a user wants to compare a one-way and return option, check an alert about changed train movement, and keep the next travel step visible without opening several separate services.
The interface stays practical: a large route form sits above service notices, and the bottom bar links Home, Tickets, Personal Account, and Settings. This arrangement suits short planning sessions as well as follow-up checks before departure, when a traveler wants route information or a previously purchased ticket close at hand.
