EmuBox 3.6.0 brings several console-style systems into one Android library for players who keep private ROM backups. Users can scan a game file, open it from the Play area, save or load progress, keep multiple save slots, move through slow sections with fast forward, and use an external or Bluetooth gamepad. Adjustable emulator settings and in-game image capture add flexibility for different titles and play styles. The release requires Android 7.0 or newer and asks new users to choose an accessible folder for the ROM database and save states. EmuBox does not include game ROMs.
One library for private ROM backups
Scan your own game files and open supported titles from a shared Play area instead of maintaining a separate launcher for every system. The library is built around personal ROM backups, so the games available to you depend on the files you provide.
Save states and faster play
Save and load progress with up to 20 slots for each ROM, then use fast forward when a familiar section does not need to run at normal speed. Capturing a game image gives players a simple way to keep memorable or useful moments from a session.
Physical controls and flexible tuning
Connect an external or Bluetooth gamepad for a more console-like way to play on Android. Emulator settings provide additional control for adapting the experience to different titles, devices, and personal preferences.
