Plan Routes Before the Breach
Door Kickers turns each intervention into a route-planning problem. Read the top-down floor plan, identify doors and exposed angles, then draw a path for every trooper before the first shot is fired. Breach points, waiting positions, and lines of movement become part of the solution, so a quick entry is only useful when the team can cover the next room.
The touch layout keeps this preparation practical on a phone. A tap selects an operator and a drag lays out movement, while the tactical map makes it easier to compare alternate entries. Players can approach hostage rescues, bomb threats, and hostile rooms with a deliberate plan instead of relying on reflexes alone.
Build a Squad for Each Intervention
A strong plan starts with the right combination of trooper roles and equipment. Pointmen move quickly through tight spaces, Assaulters provide dependable firepower, Breachers open difficult doors, Shields protect an exposed approach, and Stealth operators support quieter entries. Choosing a different mix changes which routes are safe and how quickly the team can react when a room goes wrong.
More than 65 weapons and gear items add meaningful preparation choices. Silenced weapons, shotguns, armor, shields, and grenades each suit different layouts and threat angles, so the same mission can feel different with another loadout. The squad profile also tracks completed missions, hostages rescued, arrests, doors breached, and other milestones as players improve.
Pause, Reposition, and Coordinate Fire
Door Kickers runs in real time, but free pause gives players space to make precise corrections. Stop the action to change a route, turn an operator toward a doorway, delay an entry, or coordinate several paths before they cross. This rhythm keeps the pressure of a live intervention while making room for careful decisions on a touch screen.
The in-mission command wheel puts contextual actions close to the selected trooper. Players can move, use equipment, breach, or cancel a risky instruction, then resume when the squad is ready. Because there are no turns, hexes, or action points, success comes from timing and awareness rather than waiting for a fixed round.
Replay Missions with Different Solutions
The mission list combines designed challenges with a mission generator for longer-term replay. The game offers 80 single missions and 6 campaigns, giving players short objectives for a quick session as well as broader sets of situations to master. Each floor plan invites a different balance of speed, cover, equipment, and team separation.
A failed run is useful because the same map can be solved with a new breach point, a quieter route, or a better-timed split entry. Players who enjoy refining a plan can return to clear rooms with fewer mistakes, while the non-linear structure leaves room for experimentation. It is a good fit for tactical players who prefer learning through iteration rather than following one fixed path.
