Enter a website in the search bar, let the app look for playable video, music, or movie streams, then play the result locally or send it to a receiver that supports the format. Browser Tabs make it easier to keep more than one page available while exploring.
Bookmarks turn useful websites into a repeatable viewing list instead of making you search from scratch every time. This suits people who use several public media sites, follow recurring channels, or want a quick route from discovery to the television. Proprietary formats and site restrictions can still limit what a receiver can play.
IPTV, Podcasts, and Subtitle Tools
The navigation drawer brings IPTV and Podcasts alongside the main casting tools. IPTV playlists can use m3u files or URLs, while podcast and music entries give audio listeners a separate route to content. The app also advertises AI subtitle generation, SRT translation, and subtitle styling for viewers who want clearer dialogue across supported videos.
These tools make Castify more flexible than a single cast button. A user can move between a local file, a web page, a playlist, or an audio program without changing apps, then choose whether to keep playback on the phone or move it to a larger screen. Availability depends on the media format and the receiving device.
Remote Controls, Mirroring, and Everyday Viewing
Remote Controls, screen mirroring, and picture-in-picture add control after content starts playing. Castify lists remote support for Roku, Android TV, Samsung, LG, and Fire TV, while screen mirroring can extend a newer Android device's display to a compatible television. Playing audio on the phone while video is cast is another useful option for mixed listening setups.
